I am so far behind the popular crowd, but I am finally reading Suzanne Collins’ The Hunger Games.

Well, I am listening to the Audible version of it on my daily commute, after I saw my Mum reading it and not being able to put it down.

From the opening lines I now understand why The Hunger Games has been such a huge success. The characters are so likeable and the storyline has such wonderful momentum…

Here is my teaser:

And more than once, I have turned in the school hallway and caught his eyes trained on me, only to quickly flit away. I feel like I owe him something, and I hate owing people. (Chapter 2, Audio)
